Careers: build the post-paint era

We’re a crew of materials veterans with a startup’s slope: mass production today, a paint-free exterior platform scaling toward global EV, PBV, and robotics programs tomorrow. Small team, real machines, shipped product.

Why here

A small team with an unfair head start.

Three reasons the work is different here, and all three are things you can check on the floor rather than take on trust.

  1. Shipped, not slideware

Your work goes into production parts: bonnets, battery guards, containers. Not decks.

  2. Deep bench, short hierarchy

Work directly with ex-Kolon and ex-LG Hausys principals who built these lines by hand.

  3. A platform, not a part

EP pays today, Li:ma scales today, NEXKIN defines tomorrow. Pick your horizon.

6 openings · Seoul HQ

Own the forming window for our paint-free, multi-layer exterior skin, from sheet heating to one-shot structural integration.

What you’ll do

  • Own and tune the vacuum-thermoforming process window for multi-layer co-extruded sheet: heating cycles, mold temperatures, cycle time.
  • Run DOE on warpage, gloss retention, and surface defects; turn findings into line parameters, not reports.
  • Partner with the co-extrusion and inline hard-coating team to hold Class-A high-gloss black at production speed.
  • Support design-for-forming reviews with CAE and tooling as NEXKIN scales toward EV, PBV, and robotics programs.

What you bring

  • 3+ years in thermoforming, press molding, or sheet extrusion. Automotive or large-format preferred.
  • Working fluency with DOE/SPC and root-cause analysis on a live production line.
  • Comfort reading material datasheets and pushing back on them with your own measurements.
  • Korean or English working proficiency; both is a plus.

Push thermoplastic UD-tape and cross-ply laminates further: impregnation quality, fiber dispersion, and laminate architecture for structural parts.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and qualify UD-tape formulations across PP / HDPE / PA6 systems for structural applications.
  • Characterize impregnation quality and fiber dispersion; translate microscopy and mechanical data into process targets.
  • Design cross-ply layups (0°/90°/±45°) around honeycomb cores for battery covers, underbody shields, and carriers.
  • Support customer validation programs from coupon level through full-part testing.

What you bring

  • Degree in materials/polymer engineering or equivalent hands-on composite experience.
  • Direct experience with CFRTP, prepreg, or tape-laying processes. Thermoplastic strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with mechanical test standards (tensile, flexural, impact) and laminate theory.
  • You document like an engineer and argue like a scientist.

Model forming, crash, and pedestrian-safety behavior so our parts arrive at the test track already close to right.

What you’ll do

  • Build and correlate forming simulations (Moldflow / thermoforming) for multi-layer sheet processes.
  • Run structural and impact analyses (LS-DYNA / Abaqus) for composite exterior and battery-protection parts.
  • Support pedestrian-safety targets on exterior panels: simulation first, physical test to confirm.
  • Turn simulation results into design guidance the forming floor can actually use.

What you bring

  • 3+ years of CAE work with LS-DYNA, Abaqus, Moldflow, or equivalent toolchains.
  • Experience modeling composites or polymers. Anisotropic material cards are not new to you.
  • Correlation mindset: a model that never met a test rig is a hypothesis to you.
  • Clear written communication in Korean or English.

Own the inline vision-inspection stack that catches 0.1 mm defects at line speed, before a bad panel ever ships.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and maintain inline vision-inspection models for surface defects down to 0.1 mm.
  • Own the capture pipeline: lighting, cameras, triggering, and data flow from line to model.
  • Reduce false rejects without letting real defects escape. You own both sides of that curve.
  • Build the feedback loop that routes inspection data back to process engineering.

What you bring

  • Production experience with machine vision (OpenCV, Halcon, or deep-learning inspection stacks).
  • Python proficiency and comfort deploying models near industrial equipment.
  • Understanding of how lighting and optics make or break inspection, not just the model.
  • You treat a production line as your runtime environment.

Bring paint-free exteriors and structural composites into EV, PBV, and robotics programs. Engineering credibility, not slideware.

What you’ll do

  • Build and manage the OEM/Tier-1 pipeline for EP, Li:ma, and NEXKIN programs.
  • Lead technical-commercial discussions: weight targets, cycle time, CAPEX, and recyclability trade-offs.
  • Translate customer part requirements into RFQs our engineering team can quote against.
  • Represent Compositer at industry events and on the factory floor. Our line is the pitch.

What you bring

  • Track record selling engineered products or materials into automotive, mobility, or industrial OEMs.
  • Enough engineering depth to survive a room full of materials engineers, or the humility to bring one.
  • Bilingual Korean/English strongly preferred; global program exposure a plus.
  • You follow up. Every time.

No listing fits, but you know you should be here? Tell us what you would build. We read every speculative application.

What you’ll do

  • Define your own role: show us the problem you would take off our plate.
  • Bring evidence: things you built, fixed, shipped, or measured.
  • If the fit is real, we shape the role around it.

What you bring

  • A specific point of view on materials, manufacturing, mobility, or the tools around them.
  • Proof of work beats pedigree, always.

No listing required. We read every one of these.

How hiring works

AI-assisted. Human-decided.

We use LYN AI to make the first pass fast and fair, then we hand everything to people.

AI assists screening. It never rejects candidates.

  1. Apply or talk to LYN

Send a resume, or let LYN AI’s HR gateway walk you through the role and collect your profile conversationally.

  2. AI first-pass screen

LYN summarizes your fit against the role. A screening summary goes to our HR team, never an auto-reject.

  3. Humans decide

Principals interview. Offers come from people. The AI just kills the waiting time.
