Applications: where Compositer forms

From EV battery packs to reefer containers to buried energy pipe, Compositer materials are in service today: lighter than steel, formed without paint, and built to outlast the alternatives.

Battery & EV: Li:ma

The battery’s first line of defence.

Multi-layer continuous-fibre-reinforced composite bottom guards and pack covers: 45% lighter than the painted-steel guard they replace, one-shot formed with no joint to seal, electrically non-conductive, and 100% recyclable at end of life. The full property record sits with the platform, at Li:ma on the technology page.

PBV exterior: NEXKIN

A Class-A skin with no paint shop.

Purpose-built vehicles live at volumes where steel stamping never breaks even. NEXKIN’s one-set tooling and paint-free Class-A finish make 40-60k units a year the economic sweet spot, proven in production on the Kia PV5 bonnet. The engineering proof — tooling, surface, cost — is set out at NEXKIN on the technology page.

Robot exteriors: NEXKIN

Robots deserve better than bent sheet metal.

Delivery, service and logistics robots need dent-proof, weather-proof, brand-colour exteriors at modest volumes. That is exactly where paint-free formed composite wins. NEXKIN brings automotive Class-A surfaces to machines that were never worth painting.

Infrastructure & energy

300,000 kilometres and counting.

Composite pipe in continuous service across infrastructure and energy networks: corrosion-proof, light enough to lay by hand where steel needs plant, and already installed at a scale that wraps the planet seven times over.

Logistics

A million containers, reinforced.

Refrigerated trucks, trailers and 53 ft reefer containers run lighter and longer with Compositer composite reinforcement. Over one million containers are in service.

Agri-machinery

Built for the field.

Agricultural machinery exteriors and structural panels that shrug off impact, chemicals and UV: formed in colour, never repainted, at volumes steel can’t serve economically. All three platforms are in play on the same machine.
