About the company

Compositer Inc. is an ultra-gap advanced-materials platform company headquartered in Seoul, Korea. We replace painted steel vehicle exteriors and structural parts with lightweight, paint-free thermoplastic composite panels: color, structure, and rigidity formed together, inside the mould, in one shot. No painting. No press. No welding.

History and trajectory

From a Seoul startup to the forming platform.

The delivered record — commercial and certified — then two stated targets.

2028 and 2030 are targets, not results: dashed rule, open marker.

  1. 2020

    Founded in Seoul

Compositer Inc. is established in November 2020 by materials veterans from LG Hausys and Kolon, on one conviction: large-format mobility exteriors should be formed, not painted.

  2. 2021

    First mass production

EP interior trim lines enter mass production with major Korean manufacturers, and the first Li:ma structural program (a continuous-fiber back beam) launches the Hyundai OEM pipeline.

  3. 2022

    First government validation

The Early-Stage Startup Package (KISED) funds the recycled high-performance composite that becomes Li:ma — the technology and market foundation, validated for the first time outside the building.

  4. 2023

    PV5 paint-free bonnet

The Kia PV5 high-gloss bonnet proves NEXKIN in production: Class-A gloss out of the tool, Euro NCAP 4-star pedestrian rating, ~30% weight cut. No paint shop.

  5. 2024

    Five programs · Didimdol R&D

Kolon Spaceworks battery cover, SECO AIA bumper beam, LX Hausys motion bed, and SK geo centric wheel body cover join the back beam in mass production; Li:ma revenue +134%. The MSS Didimdol R&D programme advances the core glass-fibre resin and process-integration technology.

  6. 2025

    R&D department · acceleration

An in-house R&D department is formally recognised (January 2025), putting proprietary technology and IP development on its own footing. Revenue reaches KRW 2.86 bn (+132.9% year over year), a second straight profitable year with the equity impairment fully resolved.

  7. 2026

    Certified three ways

Venture Company (March), INNO-BIZ grade A (May) and MAIN-BIZ (July) certifications validate technology, innovation and management capability, while the MSS Startup Scale-up Package carries Li:ma into pilot and mass-production readiness.

  8. 2026Now

    Series A · NEXKIN line

A KRW 5 bn Series A funds the NEXKIN mass-production line while eight development programs run with Hyundai Mobis, LG Energy Solution, Lotte Chemical, Hanwha, and more — with TIPS and private investment pursued to accelerate commercialisation.

  9. 2028Target

    NEXKIN volume production

Target: PBV and robot exterior programs ramp to volume production, the leap from parts supplier to mobility exterior platform.

  10. 2030Vision

    The platform company

Vision: the ultra-gap advanced-materials platform company for future mobility, with KRW 36 bn revenue and global OEM programs on three continents.

Certifications and registrations

Validated by the agencies that certify it.

Technology, innovation and management capability, each confirmed by the responsible Korean authority — and the programme track that carried Li:ma from startup package to scale-up.
